About Us
The Avenues of Possibilities Tour is a movement to shape a brighter future in communities across the state of Wisconsin, both large and small.
Join your friends and neighbors as we gather to discuss what will make our cities better places to live, work, and play. Perhaps it’s a more scenic walkway to get to your favorite store, restaurant, or library. Maybe you’d like to see more protected paths for bikes to get around town. Others may want artwork and creative designs featured in the roads and bridges throughout their communities.
Featuring interactive workshops and talks from area leaders, the Avenues of Possibilities Tour aims to educate and empower residents on the ways they can advocate for targeted community improvements.
How roads impact your community
Arts & Culture and Parks & Recreation
Community improvement goes further than just the maintenance of existing community green spaces. It may look like creating dog-friendly parks and farmers’ markets or art installations that represent the community. Whatever it may look like, having accessible roads and walkways that lead to these attractions makes it easier for community members to be more engaged.
Safety & Accessibility
Traveling on well-maintained roads benefits more than just vehicles; it also enhances safety for pedestrians crossing the street and cyclists in designated bike lanes. Road improvements can include wider shoulders, intersections designed for clear visibility of oncoming traffic, and well-maintained sidewalks for safer use by all.
Economic Development
Communities live by the traffic that flows through them. We see the larger population of people who aren't from the community utilize the amenities and resources that the city offers so being able to move those people through the community efficiently is very important.

They enable access to essential resources such as schools, healthcare facilities, and businesses, fostering economic growth and social interaction.
