The Avenues of Possibilities Tour is a movement to shape a brighter future in communities across the state of Wisconsin, both large and small.
Join your friends and neighbors as we gather to discuss what will make our cities better places to live, work, and play. Perhaps it's a more scenic walkway to get to your favorite store, restaurant, or library. Maybe you'd like to see more protected bike lanes to get around town. Others may want artwork and creative designs featured in the roads and bridges throughout their communities.
Featuring workshops and talks from area leaders, the Avenues of Possibilities Tour aims to educate and empower residents on the ways they can advocate for targeted community improvements.

5:00PM - Doors open
5:10PM - Welcome from Mayor Doug Diny, Program and Panelist Introduction
Andrew Lynch - Assistant City Planner, City of Wausau Community Development
Callie Wulk - Executive Director, Wausau River District
Jonathan Smith - Chair, Wausau's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
Jim Griesbach - Highway Commissioner, Marathon County
5:30PM - Workshop
Attendees will have the opportunity to share ideas for what they want for Wausau as far as transportation & connectivity, safety & accessibility, parks & recreation, economic development, and arts & culture! Ideas under each theme will then be chosen for the panelists to discuss and share how they could impact the community and how they could be brought to life.
6:30PM - Q/A, Networking
